Description

This is a 19th century ebony puzzle ball decorated with concentric circles all over the surface. When you push the centre of one of the circles it releases a small lidded box. These boxes were used to store a variety of things from sovereigns and half sovereigns to rouge and also snuff.

It only measures 3cm w, this size is difficult to find.
