Description

A Philips terrestrial globe pre 1935 (shows Persia which changed to Iran in 1935). Good colour and in good general condition. This is a Philips Challenge globe 13.5'' in diameter with a brass chromed meridian which is calibrated. There are a few age related scuffs to the globe surface and some pitting to the meridian but for its age it is in good order. It rotates freely. There is a hairline crack to the turned beech wood base but this is of no consequence.
