Curious Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Trade stimulators were produced to overcome the strict gambling laws introduced as a part of prohibition and this machine would dispense 'gum'as its 'payout' (some dispensed cigarettes) when the dice match a winning pattern. It is presented in a nice oak case ,has good graphics on the display and is in good working condition on old penny play. It comes complete with its original key.Overall condition is good with only minor wear, corrosion to the coin slide, staining to the top flash etc in line with age and use.All minor and as you would expect from an example of this age. Please refer to the detailed photographs and feel free to contact me with any questions or if you would like to view the item. Great 'man (or Woman) cave' piece.
