An Early 20thc German World Globe

1900 - 1920
Description

A 33 cm diameter MANGS Neuer Erd Globus (Prof D.F. Stricker Stuttgart). The date of this German globe is pre 1914 (Shows Petrograd and no Panama Canal. It may be earlier as the Suez Canal appears not to be marked. The colour and condition is generally good and the globe rotates freely. Original brass fittings. Turned base having three bun feet and with an inset compass . The photographs show the condition well there being some scuffs and scratches but nothing serious. A very good detailed period globe.
