In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the 1920s.

The outer of the case is Crocodile leather. It has a thick handle and two metal locks with their original working key. The lock plates are stamped "English Lever".
Inside the case is lined with green water silk. It is fitted out with pockets and compartments which would have once contained a vanity set. It could be re-lined as a plain suitcase or used as it is.

The case is in very good condition for its age with no major damages. The outer has sustained some scuffs and light marks, particularly around the corners and there is an old stain on the bottom side but nothing detrimental. The inside is clean and tidy with a few small marks but nothing untoward. The case has been cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
