Pair of African Carved Hardwood Busts

1900 - 1920
Description

Great pair of c19th African carved hardwood busts of two gentleman. Not entirely sure what they are carved in, but they are surprisingly heavy!

Nice size to stand as a pair either together like this or perhaps either end of a console for example.

Well carved and great features, the chap on the right is a slightly lighter tone than the other, but only a little.

11 1/2 inches or 32 cm high
