Horn Handled Malacca Sword Stick by Brigg

Description

Fine, elegant crook handled Malacca sword stick by Thomas Brigg & Sons, London.

The handle and ferrule are made of horn, possibly buffalo, the silver collar is by Charles Cooke hallmarked for London, 1909 (mark is rubbed but it looks like an "O"). Both the haft and the collar are marked "Brigg" and the fullered blade is of a fine thin triangular steel. It is superb condition.
