A wonderful large brass bank sign, ‘BANK BUILDINGS’. This wonderful large 5ft 1 inch sign with individual cast and enamelled letters. Each letter is individually fixed with screws to the rear. A superb quality example.

This wonderful sign may have once adorned the ‘Bank Buildings’ (current Isle of Man Bank) at 2 Athol Street, Douglas, Isle of Man. This impressive building was completed in 1902 and remains breathtaking, particularly the banking hall with its colourful marble, wood panelling and incredible central dome with beautiful stained glass windows.

A rare find and in superb condition, with very light wear, commensurate with its age.

Would make a wonderful piece of wall art, in a traditional or contemporary home. Perfect if you are in the banking or finance sector.
