Description

Welsh cutlery tray of small dimensions in pine, of the typical yet particularly individual design. The exterior and handle have a scumbled finish, with the interior painted red, all accentuated with black painted lines. The finish is nicely worn through, and much of the fretted top edge has been broken and worn down. One side has a carving of a spoon, the other of a fork, with the date 1919 at one end.
