Description

A Victorian towel rail in solid mahogany, elevated above lesser models by virtue of its finely-turned lower rail — always a sign of significantly better quality. Above the beautifully crafted lower rail are four further simple stick rails. The upright end supports have stunning barleytwist sections resting on scrolling feet. This wonderful 19th century clothes airer, with its rich colour and glowing patination, is English, and it dates from c.1870s.
