An absolutely sublime quality example of a late 19th to early 20th century leather gun case. This very finely-stitched case retains its original handle and straps and has a brass latch – no key – that closes shut to keep the lid secure. The baize interior is in really good condition with just a couple of minor areas of wear only to be expected in a gun case of this age. With its exceptional finish having a rich, warm colour and patination, this piece would make a superb addition to any vintage leather collection. It is English, and it dates from c1895 — c1910.
