The desk set incorporates a double postage stamp box with a hand painted lid of a gentleman hunting, beautifully executed and quite stunning. Behind the stamp box are two ebonised cradles which act as a pen rest.
The two crystal inkwells are in excellent undamaged shape with attractive cut hinged lids.
A real stunner in excellent condition dating to around 1890, Victorian in era. The stand measures 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" and the inkwells measuring 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" x 2 3/4" tall.
