A Georgian Adjustable Candle Stand

Description

A George III rosewood adjustable candle stand with a lead weighted base.

A candle stick would be placed on the top of the stand. The stand could be adjusted in height with the small side handle which when loosened allows a central wood stick to be pulled up from inside the base. Similar ones illustrated in Pinto.

The thumb screw tightens nicely onto the internal stem which can be raised to a height of approx. 25cm.

Stands at 16.7cm when in lowered position

Base diameter is 15cm

Top diameter is 14.5cm
