Antique Boxwood Pounce Pot - Treen

Description

A very good 19th century boxwood pounce pot. The saucer shaped lid has some pierced holes for sprinkling the pounce on to the ink and for collecting any unused pounce.

The lid unscrew for refilling the pot. It dated from the mid 19th century.

The pot measures 7cm h x 4cm d
