A Large Antique Sycamore Dairy Bowl

Description

A lovely farmhouse dining table size...........16.25 inches in diameter. English and from the18th or early 19th century. Turning marks can be seen on the exterior from the makers chisel who also incised ring decoration on the body and rim. The bowl is solid but has wear marks all over and a ring mark to the interior ….it has no discernible repairs but bears the scars of long use. There is a good patina to the sycamore timber. Needs to be placed on a large farmhouse dining or kitchen table to come alive again.
