Description:
Here is fine quality and original antique English George V solid oak stick & umbrella corner hallstand, with a copper tray, circa 1920 in excellent original condition. The stand comprises a bow fronted triangular frame, partitioned into two sections. The frame is raised on ring turned supports, topped with turned finials and features a fluted carved top rail to the front and shaped bracket to the rear. Below, fitting neatly within the moulded base is a lovely removable copper drip tray. The stand is raised on baluster turned legs. The item is solid in joint and ready to use.
Condition Report:
This corner stand is in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination. There is no damage to the finials, support columns or feet. The copper drip tray is also in good condition. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
