Description

A 1930's Philips terrestrial 12 inch globe. Pre 1935...shows Siam, Leningrad, and Persia. Brass semi circle graduated support with beads top and bottom. Wide turned and ebonised base. The globe turns freely and generally in good condition. There is some wear around Jamaica and a split to the underside towards Antarctica ...this does not show unless the globe is picked up and viewed from underneath (see photos).

Diameter 30.5 cm to max width 32 cm and stands 43 cm high approx.

The base is 22 cm in diameter.
