Description

This is a charming pair of characterful bookends in the form of perched owls. The owls date from the early 20th Century and are hand carved in Italian alabaster. They have a lovely two tone figuring and colouration to them and are a good heavy pair, enough to hold a good few volumes. the bookends stand 21 cms high and 10 cms wide.
