Yew Wood Spill Vase Circa 1800

Description

A beautiful turned spill vase (used for holding tapers to lighting fires and candles around the Georgian home) in wonderfully grained yew wood.

The piece was turned as two parts from the same piece of wood. It's wonderfully tactile and a great addition to any domestic treen collection.

There is a stable and unmoving crack to the main body.
