Description

fabulous large gilt wood and gesso jardiniere with good provenance.

the wire basket work top with lift out liner is raised on a superbly ornate support in the form of a putto draped with gilded garlands and standing on a wonderfully carved scroll triform base ( smaller pair of jardinieres for sale separately ).

wear and tear commensurate with age and use but overall this fabulous jardiniere must be seen to be fully appreciated as the photos do not do it justice.
