This is a good 19th century gouache painting on ivory of an Indian lady heighten with gilt highlights dating from around 1870. The painting is a striking profile in bold strong colours set in an oval fabric mount and it’s original deep, solid oak frame which measures 23 cms by 20 cms.

This is in lovely original condition.
