A French Hotel Laundry Basket

Description

Circa 1920 this wheeled basket has a number of possible uses. Being strong and sturdy it could be used for logs, laundry or wine in the cellar. It is constructed on an iron frame with interwoven wicker sides. It has six cast iron wheel to the base. The two central wheels are larger than the others which enables 360 degree rotation and easy manoeuvered . Tall and narrow. Makers cartouche to the base of the frame.
