The exquisite mahogany timber swan neck carved pediment above the shield-shaped inlaid centre decoration with profusely pierced fretwork framed within the tapering mahogany and boxwood inlaid frame, the holes running down the sides with adjustable turned pegs above the shaped lower splat and stretcher held up by the fine back support.
