Description

Original Welsh hand-stitched quilt of good size, in attractive salmon pink and pale green cloth, with an elaborate geometric pattern featuring hearts, diamonds and circular motifs. The style uses the traditional and decorative designs typical of west and south Wales. Circa 1900.

A good example of Welsh Folk Art.

Good untouched condition, commensurate with age. There are a few tiny marks and some fading.
