Description

A most attractive example of a late 19th century wall mounted clothes airer or towel rail. The six protruding supports are united by three faux-bamboo rails, and there are fixing brackets already fitted for mounting. It retains traces of the original paintwork with a look of real charm and character. French, c1890s.
