Antique Islamic Inlaid Table

Description

This is a very decorative antique inlaid table with a stunning tooled brass top dating from the late 19th century, circa 1890. The folding hardwood base is intricately inlaid with bone detail and has finely hand carved panels with vine leaf detail. The tooled and painted brass top has the most amazing detail with a typically islamic stylised flowing vine design in a most intricate pattern.

The table is a very useful size measuring 55 cms high and the top measures 52 cms in diameter.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
