Description

An adjustable, portable artists seat by Newman, 24, Soho Square, London.

James Newman, as a business, was listed at this address between 1801 to 1933. This seat dates from towards the end of that period and is from around 1920. It is beautifully constructed in walnut with a brass inset to allow for height adjustment of the leather covered and brass nailed seat. 1230mm high, 380mm wide and 670mm deep.
