Description

An absolutely stunning example of a 19th century fretwork book stand in oak. This beautiful table top or desk top accessory is ideal for use as a reading stand or a music stand. It has an adjustable support at the back, enabling the user to alter the angle of display. It retains its original brass swivel page stays and has an untouched finish with a superb colour. When folded, it has a maximum thickness of 6.5cms. This wonderful reading stand is English, and it dates from c1860s — c1880s.
