Description

A 12 in terrestrial globe 'Bacons Standard'. The heavy plaster globe has blemishes from use but is perfectly spherical and rotates well with its correct brass and wood button supports to top and bottom. Well made turned base. The surface of the globe has wear and spots but is generally good except for a deterioration in the area of central North America where the detail has worn away (finger tip size)……..see detailed photo. Overall a good decorative working globe.

The turned base is 21 cm in diameter
