Very large cast iron 19th century African currency piece, c 1890. This piece is part of a large collection of 21 currency pieces which I purchased from a collector who spent 15 years putting the collection together ( I am open to offers for the complete collection).It is most probably from the Congo and is nicely cast and decorated, in the form of a sickle with attachments.
