Huanghuali Marble Top Plant Stand

Description

Circa 1890, Qing dynasty Chinese huanghuali marble top plant stand. With shaped, pink variegated marble in a foliate carved frame with beaded edge above a profusely carved stand. It has open fretwork, shaped brackets leading on to curved legs with an unusual, foliate carved open stretcher to the bottom. Finishing on a curled toe with foliate design carvings.
