A lovely example of a 19th century antique needlework sampler, by Harriet Povy age thirteen in 1867.
The embroidered antique sampler depicts a house in the centre with peacocks, rabbits, butterflies and birds, along with a poem. All this is set in a garden with a lovely strawberry border. A very lovely example of an English antique sampler in super condition.
