Antique Tinsel Picture Mr Creswick as Cassius

Description

This is a really nice example of a 19th century tinsel picture, Mr Cresswick as Cassius. The picture is in crisp clean condition, hand decorated and embellished with fabric sections and tinsel pieces throughout the work. It was published by J Remington of 73 Horton Street London around 1830 and is in in a smart burr walnut frame measuring 30 cms by 25 cms.

This is marked number 69 from the series, we also have number 70 listed in an identical frame so these make a nice pair. Please see our other items.
