A very elegant Regency mahogany fold-over tea table.
c1820.
The fold-over top is of rectangular form with a reeded edge. Over a frieze inlaid with ebony panels
A gate leg action to the back, opens the table to double in size.
The mahogany has a wonderful rich colour and superb figuring.
Standing on ring-turned, tapering supports.
Solid, sturdy and strong.
Rich, warm patina.
An extremely useful table from a very elegant era.
In excellent antique condition. Minor expected signs of wear and use.
