Large 18th Century Gilded Portrait Frame .

Description

A truly magnificent picture/portrait frame made in the early part of the 18th century. It is totally original as may be seen by the slight distressing of the gilding.

If only we had the painting that would have originally been within it!

This frame could have many uses , for example a mirror...we have had a quote for a bevelled glass insert, or a tapestry .

The frame on its own is heavy so it clearly shows on the reverse side the mount holes that would have been used to hand this frame.

For delivery please ask for a quote.

Inspection is welcome in Somerset.
