It was listed by In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors. Sold pieces stay on Sellingantiques as a record of what has passed through, and the next one is rarely far away.
In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It has been very well looked after and still has its original lid. The wooden threads on each section are in good condition and the sections screw together firmly.
It is in very good condition for its age and it has developed a pleasant aged patina. The only damage is a small old split in the lid which has made it slightly loose but still perfectly usable. There is wear to the labels and general signs of use and the third section down tightens slightly off-centre to the rest but it isn't detrimental and certainly displays beautifully.
The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask. UK Delivery £7.
