This 18 carat gold Edwardian necklace is strung with pearls peridot & amethysts
Beautifully designed the seed pearls sit with in a lover’s knot motive
The amethysts beads are a pretty violet purple and the peridots beads are a wonderful fresh green
Green for give, white for women & violet for votes!
The beads are 5.5 mm wide and the lovers knot measures 8.5 x 15mm.The necklace is 146cm ( 58") long.
This fabulous long necklace is so versatile and looks fabulous worn double or treble.
It fastens with a hinged 9 caret gold clasp (possible a later addition). It is a quality necklace that weighs 18 grams.
This necklace dates to Edwardian period. It in excellent condition
