Betjemanns Coromandel Tantalus Three Bottle Silver Mounted

1900 - 1920
Description

A silver mounted three litre bottle tantalus supplied by Mappin and Webb in 1901.

The three litre bottles are magnificent BUT ...one has a very small hole in the corner as shown and another has a sliver off the bottom of the stopper. the tantalus has a brahma lock but unfortunately the key is missing. Also a small part of the silver design is missing on the front.(please see photos )

The decanters stand in satin wood holders.

The tantalus is extremely heavy and we suggest delivery is undertaken by Carrier.

We have taken these faults into consideration and they are reflected in the asking price.
