Description

An attractive Edwardian 4 fold mahogany Norfolk Broads screen with hand painted oil on canvas panels. Each section having a reeded mahogany frame with turned galleries and finials. The first painting with a scene of water lilies with bull rushes and reeds. The second river scene with reeds and 2 kingfisher birds in flight with 2 snipe looking on. The third scene with numerous blue tits in flight and nesting with wild flowers and water. The fourth evening scene with a wading heron amongst reeds with the moon above which may hide an old repair. Dimensions :- Height…59’’/ 150cm. Max.Depth…69.5’’/ 177cm. Depth of each fold…1’’/ 2.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £45.
