Description

A 19thC single drawer telescope on stand. Inscribed with a makers name on the focus slide but indistinguishable ...possibly French. Marked with a military arrow (see photos). Does function and focus. Lenses appear fine ..the object lens with some pitting but no cracks The eye piece has its closing slide over the lens.Adjusts horizontally only. The leather is of a nice colour.

88.5cm long extended.

72 cm closed

Object lens approx 4.5 cm in diameter.
