Description

This is a stunning antique 19th century four fold screen with superbly carved detail dating from around 1890. The screen has intricately pierced panels with dancing Indian deities in ornate foliage above superb tusked elephants. The screen is in good condition overall with some minor losses to the carved detail here and there. The panels are raised on carved feet in the form of mythical dragons and the arched crests depict further deities and dragon scrolls.

This is a really impressive piece measuring 174 cms high and each panel is 40 cms wide.
