A wonderful large set of Victorian postage scales dating to around 1880, it's rather nice to find a finer quality set with a solid Mahogany base rather than the normal Oak.

The other thing that makes this set stand out from the crowd is the wonderful set of weights, these usually are the more ordinary disc shaped weights rather than these decorative and beautifully shaped set.

The top of the letter pan is engraved with all of the postage rates and instructions.

The perfect set for your desk-top or office display ... professionally polished to gleam and in excellent condition. The base measures 9 1/4" x 5".
