Founded by the New York City publishing firm of Schribner’s, Schribner’s Monthly ran from 1870-1881, then continued as The Century Illustrated Monthly under a different publisher. Scribner’s Magazine began in January 1887.

This is a collection in ‘as found’ condition, the 10/1880 and 01/1881 without front covers, comprising: Scribner’s Monthly 10/1880, 01/1881
