French Painted Folding Screen

1900 - 1920
Description

This delightful french 4 panel painted screen is offered in very good condition.

The screen in original fabric and paint has a great look.

The panels have a ribbed glass panel to the top and oriental fabric design, finished with stud work detailing. The reverse panels have a golden brocade fabric, there is some slight pilling to the oriental fabric, please see photos.

The frame has retained it's original cream paint with gold highlights to the carved floral pediments and swags.

The screen retains all it's brass hinges.
