English 19th Cebntury Antique Oak Bushel Measure

This is a lovely large English antique bushel measure. Originally using for measuring the dry capacity of agricultural products such as wheat. This antique bushel is in excellent condition, made in one piece of bent oak that is bound in metal and has iron lifting handles to each side. Stamped with the crown for Queen Victoria's reign. Also stamped with Essex, the country that this antique bushel was used. In superb condition and wonderful original colour.
