A fine and unusual mid Victorian mahogany magazine Canterbury of folio form on a narrow base with four bun feet, a central divider incorporating the handle, on one side an applied panel pierced with stiffly stylised scrolling leaves, the other side blank, and with shaped side panels. English, circa 1870.
