Georgian Antique Cast & Wrought Iron Coat Stand

This English Late Georgian antique iron coat stand is amazing quality. Like a sculpture, this country house antique stand has a very well decorative cast iron base with three decorated, shapely paw feet and a cast iron urnto the lower stem, then the stem above and the ten shaped arms are made in blacksmith forged wrought iron. The ten iron arms are finished in lovely, reeded balls. The whole piece is still in the orignal, Georgian antique dark green paint finish. It is almost too nice to cover up! Could be used in a bathroom or by the swimming pool for towels, as well as in an entrance way for coats. English and dating from around 1810 and in fabulous, orignal condition.
