Description

This is a good, well modelled taxidermy fox mask and brush mount in excellent condition, dating from the early 20th century.

The fox has an alert, snarling pose with mouth and teeth exposed. The fur and brush are in beautifully preserved condition.

The mount measures 60 cms tail to top and projects 30 cms from the wall. The oak shield is 26 cms by 20 cms.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
