A lovely Nineteenth century sign dating from around 1830 with original paint on Elm board.

There is an interesting back story to Mr. Rumboll who was a farmer - in 1839 he was shot and lost the use of one arm, his attacker was sentenced to death by hanging.

Now available from our large showroom in Marlborough, Wiltshire.
