Silver Repousse Handled Sword Stick

1900 - 1920
Description

Late 19th Century ebonised sword stick with elegant repousse handle, marked "Metal Argente", possibly French, with brass collar above quality twist lock, triangular fullered blade ending in a very sharp point.

The piece is in very good condition with two empty cartouches on the handle, both of which have what appear to be drilled holes, the function of these is unknown but could have been for anchoring a medallion of some kind.
